Ensemble Méridien

Creat el 2007 a Barcelona, l'Ensemble Méridien neix amb la voluntat d'interpretar la música dels segles XVII i XVIII des d'una vessant històrica, buscant amb els recursos del segle XX una aproximació a l'estil d'aquella època.L'Ensemble Méridien el formen joves instrumentistes amb una àmplia experiència cambrística i orquestral a nivell nacional i internacional. Després de formar-se a Catalunya han ampliat la seva formació en el camp de la música antiga a Bèlgica, Holanda, Alemanya i Itàlia. LEnsemble ja rebut classes com a grup amb professionals del món de la música antiga com Erich Höbart, Lorenzo Coppola, Pablo Valetti i Manfredo Kraemer.
Durant la seva curta trajectòria, L'Ensemble Méridien ha tocat en festivals i sales de concert tant a nivell nacional, com la Setmana de Música Antiga de Mataró, l'Auditori de La Mercè de Girona, la Basílica de Montserrat, el Festival de música sacra de Tenerife o el Festival ANTIQVA de la Fundació La Caixa, com a nivell internacional, al Festival Ambronay, on fou grup resident el 2011 i el "Faboulous Fringe" del Festival de Música Antiga d'Utrech 2001, guanyant el Premi del Públic.
